Outdoor activities abound at Lone Oaks Farm. With managed lakes and ponds everywhere, 15 miles of developed trails, and endless vistas, the outdoors will become your playground at Lone Oaks Farm.

For those guests staying overnight at Lone Oaks Farm or for guests at special events, the activities include

Lone Oaks Farm offers many opportunities for fishing, from the 40 acre Big Lake, to smaller lakes and ponds like Waterfall Pond, Lost Pond, Beaver Pond, and Catfish Pond, fishing opportunities abound. Whether you want to catching Largemouth Bass, Bream, Bluegill, or Catfish, we have something for you.

Hiking & Biking

Lone Oaks Farm features over 30 miles of roads and trails suitable for biking, running, and hiking.  Traversing the fields, meadows, and woods of Lone Oaks Farm, our trails offer great wildlife and nature watching opportunities.

Shotgun Shooting at The Clays

We have just completed construction of a 3.5 million dollar Clay Target Shooting and Hunter Education Center, which offers some of the finest sporting clays, 5-stand, trap, and skeet shooting in the mid-south. Bring your favorite shotgun and plenty of shells and have a blast! The Clays is open Wednesday through Sunday every week, and you can find more information at loneoaksclays.com.

Kayaking

Grab your kayak or rent one of ours for hours on the 40-acre Big Lake or try out one of the smaller lakes and explore the birds, mammals, and plants along the banks from the water.

Lone Oaks Farm is administered by UT Extension, a unit of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UTIA). UT Extension has offices in every county in Tennessee and provides educational programming in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Economic Development. UTIA is one of the five campuses with the University of Tennessee system and is comprised of UT Extension, AgResearch, College of Veterinary Medicine, and College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
